California ETP Employer Workshop
Worker Training Funds for Bay Area Manufacturers
Bay Area Manufacturers want access to dedicated funding to train their workers. Good news! They already pay into a fund for just this purpose, the CA Employment Training Panel (ETP).
Learn about ETP’s mission to fund employer-driven training and how your company can access those funds to upskill your current workers and train new ones, promoting retention and creating pathways for worker advancement.
In the last 40 years, ETP has invested over $2 billion to strengthen California’s workforce, supported approximately 100,000 businesses, and provided training for about 1.6 million workers.
The event is a direct outcome of the Manufacturing Executive Roundtables developed through the strategic partnership of AMBayArea, East Bay EDA, and East Bay Works with the support of the California Bay Area Jobs First Collaborative. The roundtables provided a platform for manufacturing leaders to identify shared priorities and opportunities, which informed tangible deliverables, including this event.
