AMBayArea Winter Forum
Join us for a forward-looking panel discussion designed to give California manufacturers a clear, practical roadmap for 2026. Industry experts will break down what to expect in supply chains and tariffs, outline key federal and state funding opportunities and incentives, and provide the latest legislative and regulatory updates shaping the manufacturing landscape.
The AMBayArea Winter Forum will be held on Thursday, January 29, 3 to 6 p.m. at NextFlex in San Jose and feature a panel discussion, facility tours, and networking.
AMBayArea members can purchase discounted tickets. Non-member manufacturers who purchase tickets and join within two weeks can have the discount credited toward their membership fee.

Speakers
Moderator: Lance Hastings serves as President and CEO of the California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA). Under his leadership, CMTA continues dedicated to protecting and enhancing California’s manufacturing sector through engagement with government leaders, administrative agencies, and other key stakeholders. Lance has been featured and interviewed for his work in global and national media outlets including ABC and NBC News, CNN, Politico, Wall Street Journal, among other publications. In 2023, Lance was recognized as one of Sacramento Business Journal’s Most Admired CEOs.
Hannah Kain is President and CEO of ALOM, a leader in supply chain management solutions. Prior to founding ALOM in 1997 in Fremont, California, she held various management and executive positions dating back to 1983, with a wide range of experience in the packaging industry since 1990. Hannah has extensive international management experience, membership, and involvement in numerous governmental and educational agencies and business groups, including serving on the board of the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). Hannah has received numerous awards, including the 2024 SDCE Pros To Know Lifetime Achievement award.
Ashley Grech serves as the Chief Operating Officer for California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA). Ashley has a deep understanding of California manufacturers, having worked closely with manufacturers for many years in previous roles and having serving on CMTA’s Small and Medium Manufacturers Committee.
Poonum Rashmikant Patel serves as Deputy Director of Business Development at GO-Biz, where she leads the agency’s efforts to attract, retain, and grow investment across California. With over a decade of experience at GO-Biz—including roles in business investment services and permit assistance—she brings historical and deep knowledge of the state’s economic incentive programs and ways to navigate state and local services on successful business development pathways.
