AMBayArea Manufacturing Student Scholarship Fund

AMBayArea awards scholarships to Bay Area community college students to support the future of manufacturing.

The AMBayArea Manufacturing Student Scholarship Fund was established in 2021 by the Association of Manufacturers Bay Area (AMBayArea). AMBayArea presents local community college students studying in skilled trades programs with scholarships each spring and fall. Funds are raised through the Annual Golf Benefit presented by AMBayArea and Bay Area Community Colleges, as well as donations from companies and individuals.

Bay Area community college students can apply for the $500 scholarships. Applications are accepted in the spring and fall and reviewed by AMBayArea board members. Applicants have to meet the following criteria:

Currently enrolled in one of the 28 Bay Area community colleges
Studying for a career in one of the manufacturing skilled trades
Able to provide a community college faculty member as a personal reference

To donate, click the orange button for the Peralta Colleges Foundation website and enter your donation amount (such as $500, $1,000, $2,000, $5,000) to the scholarship fund.
